How to check you are on the real Laser 247 website
Search for our name and you will find dozens of addresses that look almost right: an extra letter, a different ending, a hyphen. Some are other businesses. Some exist only to collect passwords. Here is how to tell in under a minute whether you are in the right place.
Step one: read the address, letter by letter
Our address is www.laser247.ind.in. On a phone, tap the address bar so the whole thing is shown — mobile browsers hide most of it by default.
What matters is the part just before the first single slash. Everything in front of it can be faked:
laser247.ind.in.something-else.com/login— the real site here is something-else.com.laser247-ind.in— a hyphen where there should be a dot. A different site.1aser247.ind.in— the digit 1 in place of the letter l. A different site.
If even one character differs, it is not us, no matter what the page looks like.
Step two: think about how you arrived
People rarely land on a fake page by typing. They are sent there.
- A link in an SMS about a “blocked account” or “pending bonus”.
- A link from a stranger in a Telegram or WhatsApp group.
- An advert above the search results. Adverts can be bought by anyone.
- A QR code in a social media post.
If you arrived by any of those routes, close the tab and type the address yourself. Better still, open this site once, bookmark it, and only ever use the bookmark. It is a boring habit and it works.
The padlock does not mean what people think
The padlock, or “https”, tells you the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who owns the site. Certificates are free and issued automatically, so fake sites have padlocks too. A missing padlock is a reason to leave. A padlock on its own is not a reason to stay.
Step three: notice what the page asks you for
The real sign-in screen asks for your login ID and your password. Nothing else. Leave immediately if a page asks for any of these:
- Your UPI PIN, card number or CVV.
- An OTP for something you did not start yourself.
- A payment before you can log in or “activate” an ID. A new Laser 247 ID is free.
- An app file (APK) downloaded from a chat message. Our mobile page explains why you do not need one.
Checking a phone number or WhatsApp contact
The same goes for people. A profile photo with our logo and a name like “Laser 247 Official Support” proves nothing; anyone can set those. The only contact you can be sure of is the one you open by pressing the WhatsApp button on this website. If someone messages you first, however helpful they seem, do not continue there. Come here and start a fresh conversation. If they were genuine, nothing is lost.
Why there are so many spellings
People search for us as “lesar 247”, “laser 247 com”, “lazer247”, “laser book 247” and plenty more. Lookalike sites register addresses to match every one of those.
